Our leaders’ inaction on the multiple crises has left many of us discouraged. In view of the United Nations 2023 Water Conference, thousands of youth have come together through the Global Youth Movement for Water to amplify the voice of our generation.
For the first time since 1977, water will be THE hot topic as world leaders gather to commit to the most important and pressing water-related issues. It is our opportunity to rally the world around our most precious and finite resource: clean water. Small things add up and every action counts. By working together, we can #FillUpTheGlass.
Launched during the 9th World Water Forum, the Global Youth Movement for Water brings together youth-led organizations and allies to influence decsion-makers, increase our youth’s negotiating power and encourage action around the globe.
By youth. For youth. With youth. We are stronger together!

Water is essential to create and sustain any form of life. It is also an important driver to achieve a more equal and peaceful world. And yet:

Young people under 35 make up more than half of the world’s population and we’re among the hardest hit by the water crisis. Despite being agents of change, we are rarely included in major decision-making processes.
For the sake of our generation and the next to come, we must come together to #FillUpTheGlass.
No matter where you are, you can partake in our movement and act now because you have the power to inspire change!
We need you to #FillUpTheGlass.
